Diane, niece of Henry and Wanda Jacobson who own the Cider Mill in Chester, NJ, was
the “Hot Dog Girl” for over 8 years. Diane
was tragically paralyzed in a car accident on
June 17, 2006. The once physically active
wife and mother of Ryan, Cory, and Shane,
was buckled in the back seat when their car
came to a sudden stop while traffic merged
for construction on Route 78. The car
behind them slammed into them going
approximately 75 mph breaking Diane’s
neck, back, and hip. After being airlifted,
she spent 5 weeks in a trauma center and
18 months in rehabilitation.
Diane is finally home, and desperately needs a wheelchair accessible vehicle. For now
Diane’s husband, Kevin, must lift her in and out of the wheelchair to transport her
everywhere. Please help us help them by attending this special fundraiser at the Cider
Mill at Hacklebarnery Farm, 104 State Park Rd, Chester, NJ! For directions see
www.njcidermill.com All proceeds from this event will go directly towards the
acquisition of a wheelchair accessible vehicle for Diane O’Hara.
